29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a). On or about 7/6/17, on site, for employees handling InkCups Ink to add to the ink machine on a daily basis. BA Series Ink is a corrosive and and contains chemicals such as, but not limited to, Cyclohexanone. The employer did not install an eye wash/shower unit in the vicinity of the employees dispensing and handling the inks. b). On or about 7/6/17, on site, in the ink room, for the foreman that cleans the cup of ink and thinner mixture in the parts cleaner on a daily basis; 15 cups are cleaned a day. The ink is a corrosive. The employer did not install an eye wash station/shower unit on site.
