Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 005 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(B): The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the steps for shutting down, isolating, blocking and securing machines or equipment to control hazardous energy. On or about May 24, 2017 and times prior thereto, at the worksite located at or near 190 Wilson Mill Road in Monticello, Arkansas, the employer had not developed machine specific procedures for the shutdown and maintenance of the machines in the facility to include but not limited to the knot-saws, stackers, and other machines. This condition exposes employees to shock hazards.
