29 CFR 1910.335(a)(1)(i): Employees working in areas where there were potential electrical hazards were not provided with electrical protective equipment that was appropriate for the specific parts of the body that needed to be protected and for the work being performed: a.) On or about May 3, 2017, the employer did not ensure maintenance employees were protected while changing a heater band on the 480V Sterling Blow Molding Press 21. Employees were required to replace the 480V heater band and did not wear the required face and head protection while verifying zero energy, exposing them to electrical shock and arc flash hazards.
