29 CFR 1910.217(f)(2): Operator(s) were not trained and instructed in the safe method of work before starting work on mechanical power press(es): A) Maumee Assembly & Stamping, LLC, located at 920 Illinois Avenue, Maumee, OH 43537: On or about January 20, 2017, the employer did not ensure that employees were trained in the safe operation of the mechanical power presses such as, but not limited to, Verson TR-4 (Serial # 13558, 1200 Ton) and Verson BLK1 (Model # S4-1500-186-108T, Serial # 24680, 1500 Ton). Training was not provided regarding the hazards associated with press operation, including mode selection controls and safeguarding of the presses. Press operators were exposed to amputation hazards.
