29 CFR 1926.1207(a): The employer did not provide training to each employee whose work is regulated by this standard, at no cost to the employee, and ensure that the employee possesses the understanding, knowledge, and skills necessary for the safe performance of the duties assigned under this standard, and for those employees not authorized to perform entry rescues, in the danger of attempting such rescues; On or about December 09, 2016, and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure employees of a contractor who entered the confined space asphalt silos had received training. The employees of the contractor were exposed to struck by hazards while working in the asphalt silos.
