29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity: The employer is failing to protect employees from hazards associated with scaffold collapse by insuring that scaffolds are inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift. The violation was most recently documented at a jobsite, located at 19325 102nd Street, Lenexa, Kansas where employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 20 feet while working on a scaffold that was not inspected for structural integrity before being used by employees.
