29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): a) Worksite, Hardware Department: Employees were authorized to operate Delta Unisaw, Asset #1231, to cut aluminum parts. The machinery was not equipped with an effective point of operation guard; on or about 10/6/16. b) Worksite, Fixture Department: Employees were authorized to operate Table Saw, Asset #1204, to cut foam pieces. The machinery was not equipped with a point of operation guard; on or about 10/7/16. Note: In addition to abatement certification the employer is required to submit abatement documentation for this item in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19.
