29 CFR 1910.265(d)(4)(i): Rotary barking device(s) were not guarded to protect employees from flying chips, bark, and other extraneous material: The employer is failing to protect employees from struck by hazards. This was most recently documented on or about July 18, 2016 at a jobsite located at 30979 Highway 60 in Pierce City, Missouri. The employer failed to ensure exposed employees were protected from struck by hazards in that the Fulghum brand debarker, was not fenced off or guarded to protect employees from logs, flying chips, bark or other objects could fall on or otherwise strike employees.
