29 CFR 1926.753(e)(1): A multiple lift shall only be performed if the following criteria are met: 29 CFR 1926.753(e)(1)(i): A multiple lift rigging assembly is used; a. On the site where the steel erector was performing multiple steel lifts, (Christmas Treeing) the employer did not use a multiple lifting device while raising and connecting three pieces of steel thereby exposing employees to a struck-by hazard.
