29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(15): Ladder(s) were not inspected by a competent person for visible defects on a periodic basis and/or after an occurrence that could have affected their safe use: a- 258 Gordon Road, Block 26.03, Lot 8, Robbinsville NJ: Company employees were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 12 feet to ground surface below, when improperly using an aluminum extension ladder that also contained visibly damaged and missing parts. This ladder had not been inspected by a competent person prior to its use. Condition noted on or about 05/24/16. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
