29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. a) Worksite was located at 1615 51st Street, North Bergen, NJ 07047. Employees were exposed to a Pneumatic Scale Angelus Can Seamer machine that were not properly guarded to provide employees protection from rotating parts that caused a significant hand injury to an employee. Violation occurred on or about 2/8/2016. b) Worksite was located at 1615 51st Street, North Bergen, NJ 07047. Employees were exposed to a Pneumatic Scale Angelus Can Seamer machine that had a drive belt that was not properly guarded to provide employees protection from rotating parts that could cause a significant injury to an employee.
