29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i): The employer did not provide adequate training to ensure that employees acquired the knowledge and skills required for the safe application, usage and removal of energy control devices: a.) Edge Plastics, Inc. located at 449 Newman St. Mansfield, OH 44902; On or about December 18, 2015, the employer did not ensure employees were trained in the purpose and function of the energy control program. Employees were required to assist with mold changes and service molds on injection molding presses, including but not limited to Press #16, and were exposed to hazards from unexpected start-up of the equipment.
