29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) 1857 Pebble Court, Harrisburg Pennsylvania - Employees used a ladder to enter an excavation. The ladder's side rails did not extended 3 feet above the upper landing surface, on or about September 30, 2015. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
