29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition shall be removed from service. All repairs shall be made by authorized personnel. a. Located at 100 East Broadway Street in Jackson, Ohio: On or about August 6, 2015, employees were operating a 5300 series Crown high reach truck, truck number 38, in Freezer 6. The forklift did not have a functional orange strobe light, thereby exposing employees to a crushed by hazard. b.
