29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize hazards related to ladders and stairways: a- 12 Montclaire Road, Lot 19, Medford NJ: On or about 02/12/15 a worksite company employee was exposed to fall hazards when utilizing a portable aluminum extension ladder that contained missing feet, visibly damaged rungs, etc. This employee had not received ladder hazard identification training from the employer at the time of the worksite inspection. IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
