29 CFR 1910.215(a)(4): Work rest(s) on grinding machinery were not adjusted closely to the wheel with a maximum opening of one eighth inch: (a) Worksite, Mechanic Shop - The work rest on the DeWalt Heavy Duty 8" Bench Grinder, Model # DW758 / Serial # 2008 17 - YL 14372, was approximately 3/4 away from the abrasive wheels periphery, which exceeded the maximum allowable opening by 5/8 on, or about March 13, 2015. Note: The employer is required to submit abatement certification for this violation, in accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19. Failure to comply may result in an additional penalty of $1,000.
