29 CFR 1910.178(l)(1)(i): The employer did not ensure that each powered industrial truck operator was competent to operate a powered industrial truck safely, as demonstrated by the successful completion of the training and evaluation specified in this paragraph (l): Plant - On or about 11/05/14 and at times prior thereto employees operated the Toyota forklifts and the Nissan 50 forklift and the employer did not provide training and practical evaluation to ensure the safe operation of the equipment. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
