29 CFR 1926.651(h)(1): Employees were working in excavations in which there was accumulated water and adequate precautions had not been taken to protect employees against the hazards posed by water accumulation. a) On or about March 20, 2025, at the above addressed jobsite, employees installing storm sewer line were working in an excavation with a maximum approximate depth of six (6) feet eight (8) inches where there was accumulated and accumulating water, thereby exposing employees to cave-in hazards associated with water accumulation.
