29 CFR 1910.29(f)(4): Openings in a stair rail system exceeded 19 inches at its least dimension: The employer does not ensure openings in a stair rail system do not exceed 19 inches at its least dimension: This violation was observed on or about May 30, 2019, at the warehouse building, the stair railing had an opening greater than 19 inches in its least dimension exposing employees to fall hazards. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure stair railing does not have openings exceeding nineteen (19) inches in its least dimension.
