29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1):Employer had not developed or implemented a written hazard communication program that included the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1)(i) and (e)(1)(ii): ASB Sports Acquisitions doing business as Game One located at 11500 Tailwinds Drive in Swanton, Ohio; On or about October 17, 2024 the employer did not develop a written hazard communication program which outlines how the criteria set forth in 1910.1200(f)-labeling and other forms of warning, 1910.1200(g)-safety data sheets, and 1910.1200(h)-employee information and training will be met and which also includes a list of hazardous chemicals known to be present. Employees working in the Screen Reclaim Department handled cleaning chemicals such as, but not limited to, RISE Ink Wash Concentrate, Pregasol CF-20, and GEM-ZYME Concentrated Emulsion Remover. Employees dispensing and spraying cleaning agents were exposed to hazards associated with sulfuric acid, sodium periodate, and orthoperiodic acid such as but not limited to skin irritation, eye irritation, chemical burns, damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure.
