29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(3)(iii): Employee training did not include the measures employees can take to protect themselves from chemical hazards, including specific procedures the employer had implemented to protect employees from exposure to hazardous chemicals, such as appropriate work practices, emergency procedures and personal protective equipment to be used: At the inspection site, where wood dust from powered wood cutting equipment was suspended in air during normal operations, hazard communication training was inadequate in that employee(s) were not aware of the hazards associated with combustible wood dust, which was a Class II Group G combustible dust, and measures employees can take to protect themselves, exposing employees to the hazards of fire and explosion.
