29 CFR 1910.305(c)(4): Switches -- Faceplates for flush-mounted snap switches. Snap switches mounted in boxes shall have faceplates installed so as to completely cover the opening and seat against the finished surface. On or about November 18, 2024, at an establishment located at 107 Mill Avenue in Francis Creek, Wisconsin, in the room outside of the small kilns on the east wall; employees were exposed to electrical shock hazards created by an approximate 1-inch hole in the damaged faceplate on the snap switch for the lights at the entry to the room.
