29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): ASB Sports Acquisitions doing business as Game One located at 11500 Tailwinds Drive in Swanton, Ohio; On or about October 17, 2024 the employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical. The safety data sheets maintained by the employer for Pregasol CR-20 and GEM-ZYME Concentrated Emulsion Remover, cleaning chemicals used in the screen reclaim department, did not match the Pregasol CR-20 and GYM-ZYME on hand. Employees were exposed to hazards associated with sulfuric acid, periodic acid and sodium metaperiodate such as, but not limited to, skin burns, eye damage, and organ damage if prolonged or repeated exposure.
