29 CFR 1910.107(c)(8): Portable lamp(s) used in spraying area(s) during cleaning or repairing operations were not of the type approved for hazardous Class I locations: (a) Spray Finishing Department - On or about May 16, 2024, employees were exposed to fire hazards. Portable lamps such as an Intertek Work Light, Model: WL019-4, are not approved for hazardous Class I locations and were used in a spraying area. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.13(c).
