29 CFR 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A): Authorized employee(s) did not receive training in the recognition of applicable hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods and means necessary for energy isolation and control: Lower Header Line: On, or about, April 16, 2024, employees who performed tasks such as, but not limited to, changing cutters in die sets for the "choppers" were not trained as authorized employees under the employer's Lock Out Tag Out program. Abatement Note: Per 29 CFR 1910.147(b), an affected employee becomes an authorized employee when that employee's job duties include performing servicing or maintenance covered under 29 CFR 1910.147.
