29 CFR 1910.213(n)(4): Surfacers or planers used in thicknessing multiple pieces of material simultaneously were not provided with sectional infeed rolls having sufficient yield in the construction of the sections to provide feeding contact pressure on the stock, over the permissible range of variation in stock thickness specified or for which the machine is designed. In lieu of such yielding sectional rolls, suitable section kickback finger devices were not provided at the infeed end: (a) Rex planing area; On or about January 17, 2024, and dates prior, sectional infeed rolls to provide contact pressure on stock material with variations in thickness or sectional kickback finger devices were not provided on the infeed end of a Rex brand planing machine used to plane the thickness of multiple pieces of material (laminated beams) at the same time.
