29 CFR 1910.179(n)(3)(i): The load was not well secured and properly balanced in the sling or lifting device before it was lifted more than a few inches: (a) On or about September 19, 2023, a ring being lifted over nine feet above the core of a mold was not secured and properly balanced in that the ring did not have affixed attachment points for the hooks of the chain slings to attach to; exposing an employee to a struck by and fall hazard.
