29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The employer did not ensure an adjustable tongue guard for the abrasive wheel machinery where an operator stands in front of the machine was installed to allow for adjusting the guard to the constantly decreasing diameter of the wheel. The distance between the wheel periphery and the adjustable tongue guard at the top shall never exceed 1/4-inch: On or about May 2, 2023, an employee was exposed to struck-by hazards while working with a bench grinder that did not have an adjustable tongue guard.
