29 CFR 1910.217(e)(1): Inspection, maintenance, and modification of presses. Inspection and maintenance records. The employer shall establish and follow an inspection program having a general component and a directed component. a) On or before February 1, 2023 the employer did not establish and follow an inspection program that address, the single stroke mechanism, the guards such as the pullbacks, the selector switch key, having a general component and a directed component for the Punch 21 Walsh Press & Die Co No 55 single revolution press in that the presses were not being inspected with certification of maintenance records. b) On or before February 1, 2023 the employer did not establish and follow an inspection program having a general component and a directed component for the Aida 200 Ton Press serial number 00120-0162 part revolution press in that the presses were not being inspected on a regular basis to include but not limited to daily, regular, and periodic inspections, and certification of maintenance records.
