29 CFR 1910.134(k)(3): Training was not provided prior to requiring employees to use a respirator in the workplace: a) Facility: On or about 8/9/2022, the employer did not provide training to employees, including but not limited to Painters, who were required to wear 3M half face respirators, 3M full face respirators, and 3M PAPR hoods. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
