29 CFR 1910.217(e)(1)(ii)(A): Inspections and tests of each press on a weekly basis were not being completed to determine the condition of the clutch/ brake mechanism, anti repeat feature and single stroke mechanism. On or about September 14, 2021, and October 7, 2021, employees exposed to potential amputation hazards from the daily operation of mechanical power presses within the facility, and the employer did not inspect and test each press on a regular basis at least once a week to determine the condition of the clutch/brake mechanism, antirepeat feature, and single-stroke mechanism.
