29 CFR 1910.146(c)(8)(iii): When an employer arranged to have employees of another employer (contractor) perform work that involved permit space entry, the host employer did not apprise the contractor of any precautions or procedures that the host employer has implemented for the protection of employees in or near permit spaces where contractor personnel will be working. Location: a) Inside elevator motor room of passenger elevator, ID: 3P871: On or about March 8, 2021, the host employer arranged to have employees of an elevator maintenance contractor to perform monthly maintenance that involved permit space entry. The host employer did not apprise the contractor of any precautions or procedures that they have implemented for the protection of employees in or near the permit space where the contractor employees would be working.
