29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2):Employee(s) using a tight-fitting facepiece respirator were not annually fit tested: a) Key Structures, LLC.: On or about September 10, 2020, and at times prior, employees were exposed to respiratory hazards from chemicals such as, but not limited to; Titanium Dioxide, Propanoic Acid, Zinc Oxide, and Diuron (CORONADO SUPER KOTE 5000 EXTERIOR ACRYLIC SATIN), and Titanium Dioxide, Silica, and Ammonia (BENJAMIN MOORE SUPER HIDE ZERO VOC INTERIOR LATEX) while using these chemicals in various phases of the wood treatment process. The employer did not provide fit testing procedures for tight-fitting respirators to employees required to use half-mask tight fitting respirators.
