29 CFR 1926.1153(i)(1): The employer did not include respirable crystalline silica in the program established to comply with the hazard communication standard (HCS) (29 CFR 1910.1200): a) Thurston Road, Rochester, NY - On or about, and prior to 7/23/19, the controlling employer did not include respirable crystalline silica in the program established to comply with the hazard communication standard including written program, safety data sheets, and employee information and training. Contract employees dry swept and shoveled debris containing respirable crystalline silica from the floors and performed demolition activities using demo saws to cut and break speed block, concrete block, and clay tiles containing crystalline silica. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
