29 CFR 1910.219(m)(1)(i): Pulley system was not guarded with metal, perforated or solid sheet metal, wire mesh on a frame of angle iron, or iron pipe securely fastened to floor or to frame of machine: a. On or about November 1, 2107, in the saw room, the chop saw had a rotating belt which operated on a pulley system. Employees were exposed to caught between hazards when the physical pressboard placed in front of the belt pulley system was not substantial and did not prevent accidental contact with the rotating pulley.
