29 CFR 1910.107(c)(5): Electrical equipment not approved for locations containing both deposits of readily ignitable residues and explosive vapors was present in spraying area(s): a) Paint Booth; On or about January 22, 2015 and at times prior, employees were exposed to fire and explosion hazards from accumulating deposits of combustibles present such as, but not limited to, Ethanol, Propanol, Methyl Propanol, Formaldehyde, Acetone, Butyl Acetate, Methoxy Propanol Acetate and Amorphous Silica (SHER-WOOD Hi-Bild PreCat Lacquer, Flat) while using unapproved electrical equipment such as, but not limited to, the SOLEIL 750w-1500w heater, flexible cords and cables, the Graco Nova 390 and the Graco Nova 395 electric airless Paint Sprayers.
