29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards: a) Mezzanine - On or about April 10, 2014, the mezzanine area used for storage did not have a standard rail exposing employees to fall hazards greater than 4 feet of approximately 10 feet in height. A section of the railing had only a chain of approximately 25 inches in height. The wood guardrails were approximately 21.5" in height to the midrail and 40.5" in height to the top rail.
