29 CFR 1910.332(b)(2): Employees who were covered by 29 CFR 1910.332(a) but who were not qualified persons were not trained in and familiar with any electrically-related safety practices not specifically addressed by 1910.331 through 1910.335 but which were necessary for their safety: The employer does not ensure that unqualified employees, who perform telecommunication work from aerial lifts near energized overhead powerlines are trained in and familar electrically-related safety practices necessary for their safety. This violation occurred on July 24, 2012, when an unqualified employee performed telecommunications work from an aerial lift near energized overhead power lines and was not trained in and familiar with electrically-related safety practices which were necessary for his safety.
