29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(2): Information. Employees shall be informed of: 29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(2)(iii): The location and availability of the written hazard communication program, including the required list(s) of hazardous chemicals, and safety data sheets required by this section. (a): On or about December 16, 2024, the employer did not ensure employees were effectively trained on the location of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemicals in the North Building. SDS for manufactured products were available online, but the employer did not ensure employees were adequately trained on where to access them. (b): On or about December 16, 2024, the employer did not ensure employees were effectively trained on the location of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for chemicals in the North Building. SDS for raw materials were available in the South Building Laboratory, but the employer did not ensure employees were adequately trained on where to access them. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
