29 CFR 1910.107(c)(6): Electrical wiring and equipment not subject to deposits of combustible residues but located in a spraying area as herein defined were not explosion-proof type approved for Class I, group D locations and did not otherwise conform to the provisions of subpart S of this part, for Class I, Division 1, Hazardous Locations: (a) Spray Finishing Department - On or about May 16, 2024, employees were exposed to fire hazards. Electrical wiring and equipment such as electrical cords, a Skyjack Electric Lift (Model SJIII-3219 / SN: 227462), fans, and portable drills were not explosion-proof type approved. Abatement certification is required of this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.13(c).
