29 CFR 1910.133(a)(2): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used eye protection that provided side protection when there was a hazard from flying objects. a. Manufactured Housing Enterprises, Inc., at a worksite located at 09302 US Hwy 6, Bryan, Ohio 43506: On or about May 1, 2024, in building 2, partitions area, the employer did not ensure that each affected employee wearing prescription lenses were provided with eye protection that incorporates the prescription in its design. Employees operating pneumatic nailers were exposed to flying particles, wood chips, in that employees wearing prescription lenses were not provided with safety glasses or side shield attachments. b. Manufactured Housing Enterprises, Inc., at a worksite located at 09302 US Hwy 6, Bryan, Ohio 43506: On or about May 1, 2024, in the saw shop, the employer did not ensure that each affected employee wearing prescription lenses were provided with eye protection that incorporates the prescription in its design.
