29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): Guard for abrasive wheel machine where the operator stands in front of the machine was not constructed so that the peripheral protecting member could be adjusted to the constantly decreasing diameter of the wheel: (a)Global Harvest Foods, LLC at 103 South Broadway Avenue, Miller, SD 57362: On or about and at times prior to January 4, 2024, the employer did not ensure that the stationary grinder was fitted with adjustable tongue guards which adjusted to the decreasing diameter of the grinding wheel. This condition exposed employees to struck by hazards associated with abrasive grinding wheel failure.
