29 CFR 1910.213(a)(15): Combs (featherboards) or suitable jigs were not provided at the workplace for use when a standard guard could not be used, as in dadoing, grooving, jointing, moulding, and rabbeting: a) Cabinet Room - Employees were exposed to amputation hazards while engaged in wood cutting operations, such as dadoing, while utilizing an unguarded Delta Rockwell 10" Unisaw without a comb or featherboard, on or about October 23, 2023. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
