29 CFR 1910.107(d)(12): Freshly sprayed articles were dried in spaces that were not provided with adequate ventilation to prevent the formation of explosive vapors. When adequate and reliable ventilation was not provided such drying spaces were considered a spraying area, for the purposes of this standard: Spray Finishing Area: On, or about, July 20, 2023, freshly sprayed items passed wall mounted electrical controls for the drying oven that were not rated for use in a Class 1 location. The stains and coatings that were applied were Category 2 and 3 flammable liquids.
