29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(i): Flexible cords and cables were not approved for conditions of use and location: Location: Storage/ break area - Southeast side of building. On or about June 15, 2023 the following instances of flexible cords in use where not approved were observed: a) An energized flexible cord was repaired with adhesive tape. Approval of flexible cord is based on the original condition of the cord; the adhesive tape precluded further examination of the cord's condition. b) A flexible cord without plugs on either end originated from a Cutler-Hammer 30 amp/ 240 volt disconnect switch and terminated in a Worldwide Electric 5 HP motor starter enclosure.
