29 CFR 1910.1018(j)(1)(iii) as referenced in 29 CFR 1915.1018: The employer did not provide at no cost to employees, and did not ensure use when necessary to prevent eye irritation of face shields or vented goggles (compliant with the requirements of � 1910.133(a) (2)(6)), by all employee(s) working in regulated areas or for whom the possibility of skin or eye irritation from inorganic Arsenic existed. Location: 100 Military Ocean Terminal Street. Bayonne, New Jersey 07002. a) The employer did not provide goggles, safety glasses, or a blasting helmet for employees whom the possibility of skin or eye irritation from inorganic arsenic existed. On June 26, 2023 an employee performing abrasive sand blasting operations in a salt water storage tank was exposed to inorganic arsenic at concentrations of 35 micrograms per cubic meter of air, as an 8-Hour Time Weighted Average, exceeding the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) of 10 micrograms per cubic meter of air by 3.5 times. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled period of 230 minutes. Violation occurred on or around June 26, 2023
