29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) On or about 12/29/2023, at facility, for the swim instructors and lifeguards cleaning with corrosives such as, but not limited to, Clorox� Splash-Less� Bleach, containing sodium hypochlorite, to scrub off the grout on the pool deck, and bleach and vinegar, containing sodium hypochlorite and acetic acid, to clean the vestibule. Employer did not train employees on hazard communication.
