29 CFR 1910.178(l)(5): The employer did not evaluate the competency of the operator who had previously received training appropriate to the truck and working conditions encountered. a. In the lot area of the facility at the RV service shop and throughout the yard: On or about June 22, 2022, the employer exposed employees to struck by hazards by failing to ensure that each powered industrial truck operator was certified to operate a powered industrial truck safely in that, the employer required an employee to drive the forklift prior to training and evaluation (certification) to move RV units.
