29 CFR 1910.213(i)(1): Non-working portion(s) of the blade of bandsaw(s) were not enclosed or guarded: a) On or about April 23, 2021, and at times prior, the employer exposed an employee to serious hazards from a band saw used in cutting wood in the production area. The exposed non-working portion of the blade of the band saw was not provided with an adjustable guard cover. Abatement Note: Abatement certification is required for this item (see enclosed "Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet").
