29 CFR 1910.107(d)(7): Exhaust ducts were not constructed of steel. On or about October 29, 2019, Powder Shop, the employer did not ensure that the exhaust ducts for two cabinet spray booths were constructed of steel. The exhaust ducts for the two cabinet spray booths were constructed of flexible aluminum duct. Employees sprayed powder (combustible dust) at cabinet spray booths and were exposed to fire and explosion hazards.
